Consolidation of Operations

Spokane Washington, October 2022 – Pearson Packaging Systems is announcing the consolidation of their Ashland, VA facility into their company headquarters and facility in Spokane, WA.  Pearson Packaging Systems acquired Flexicell, Inc. of Ashland, VA in February 2018 and has continued to operate the facility since that time.

“This decision is simply an evolution of our acquisition of Flexicell, Inc.,” according to Michael Senske, Chairman & CEO of Pearson Packaging Systems.  “It allows us to leverage the additional capacity of our modern and recently renovated corporate headquarters in Spokane, WA as well as the significantly more progressive and well established supply chain,” Senske said.  “This simplified and streamlined structure will allow Pearson Packaging Systems to continue focusing on creating greater value for our customers and accommodate the significant growth we are experiencing.”

Pearson Packaging Systems has extended significant retention bonuses to employees that are currently working on projects in the Ashland, VA facility in order to ensure that they are completed on time and in accordance with all customer expectations.  Pearson has also extended employment opportunities for a wide variety of positions currently located in the Ashland, VA facility.  “I’m happy to say that many individuals are continuing their journey with Pearson Packaging Systems, with some making the decision to relocate to Spokane, WA and others continuing to work remotely.,” Senske said.  “For those individuals that are unable to relocate or wish to pursue other opportunities, we will be offering generous severance packages as a way of saying thank you for their hard work and effort on behalf of our customers and our company.  We want to wish them well as they move on to the next stage of their careers.”
