Regional Sales Manager

Description

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new accounts and handling all sales activities, including territory planning, prospecting, presentations, proposals, contract negotiations and closing tasks. They will maintain accurate sales forecasts and update sales records daily using Pearson's preferred methodologies to meet unit and dollar sales targets within a given region.

The qualified individual will be in charge of, and ideally located in, the Northeast territory: NY, DE, RI, CT, NJ, MA, NH, VT & ME.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS/MBA in a related discipline or equivalent education/experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct packaging equipment sales
  • Demonstrated ability to use consultative selling strategies in a competitive environment
  • Track record of meeting aggressive sales objectives
  • Ability to regularly work extended hours (50+ hours per week) with approx. 70% travel time
