Container bins are received and buffered to the bin loading station. Cases are fed into the palletizing infeed conveyor from the customers conveyor. Once two cases are accumulated at the pick station, they are registered and aligned allowing for robotic handling. The robot picks the cases from the bottom with a fork style tool and places them in the bin with the proper orientation.

In this application, a Pearson case erector and case sealer form consistently square and securely sealed cases. Products are uprighted in a pocketed belt, then collected and compressed by a robot with custom end-of-arm tooling before being loaded into cases using a vacuum pick head. Filled cases are then palletized for shipping.
