Service and Support

Despite the challenges brought on by the current pandemic, we are committed to keeping your operation running optimally.

Remote support can be facilitated via:
- Video for Live/Real-Time support
- Camera/DVR setups installed within the cells or machines to record events so we can replay them in-house for analysis.
- Remote Access Routers
- Remote Windows Connections
  - Through MS Teams
  - MS Remote Desktop
  - Teamviewer
Most Pearson robotic equipment has built-in remote service capability. Please contact us to help you activate. Tel: 509-838-6226
Mechanical equipment can usually be retrofitted with remote service capability. Please contact our service department to initiate the process. A service visit is generally not required.
All new equipment has built-in remote access capability that can be activated when necessary and desired by the customer.
Essential technical service travel for troubleshooting, repair and installs is available.

General Operation

Factory acceptance tests are encouraged to be conducted remotely using live-feed video demonstrations. Customer-led FAT’s can also be accommodated remotely using a mobile device to direct our technician and view activities of machine function. However, we also continue to welcome customers to our facilities if an in-person acceptance process is required. While visiting our facility, we ask to comply with all current CDC guidelines for social distancing and personal hygiene. Visitors that display COVID-19-like symptoms, have been symptomatic during the past two weeks cannot be granted access to our facilities.
We do not anticipate any supply chain disruptions and will communicate proactively if they should occur.
No extended lead-times are expected for customer parts orders.
Pearson’s SARS-CoV-2 & COVID-19 response team meets daily to enable our staff to fully support our customers while adhering to the strict measures by local, state and national governments to control the virus spread. Our employees received additional IT hardware to optimize the effectiveness of their remote work. Staggered shifts have been enacted to reduce employee density, meetings are conducted exclusively in a virtual environment and safe & sick leave provides security to employees to encourage an overabundance of caution if they should experience symptoms.
