Heavy-Product, High-Strength Case Forming | BF40 Bliss Former
This video showcases the Pearson Packaging Systems BF40 Bliss Former producing three-piece bliss cases from a body wrap and two end panels. Vacuum-assisted feeding picks a single blank from each of three magazines, while a servo-driven mandrel and actuated die components precisely position each piece. High-pressure compression then sets the hot-melt bond along every glue line. Nordson E400 electric glue guns provide individual pattern control, with settings saved for each case size. Designed for products that cannot support their own stacking load, the BF40 consistently forms square, rigid bliss cases at speeds of up to 40 cases per minute.
