Container bins are received and buffered to the bin loading station. Cases are fed into the palletizing infeed conveyor from the customers conveyor. Once two cases are accumulated at the pick station, they are registered and aligned allowing for robotic handling. The robot picks the cases from the bottom with a fork style tool and places them in the bin with the proper orientation.

Case Erecting, Packing & Sealing for Glass Candy Jars

In this application, a Pearson case erector and case sealer form consistently square and securely sealed cases. Delta and 6-axis robots share the workload by picking and placing pulp inserts, picking and placing jars into cases, and placing and tamping jar lids. An iTrak conveyor with custom carts provides speed and flexibility to run many products and varying pack patterns. And, automatic-tool change makes switching between different case packs simple.
