Vice President of Sales

Location: US General


Pearson Packaging Systems has an immediate opening for a Vice President of Sales. In this role, the qualified individual will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and motivating an effective Sales organization.


  • Formulate sales objectives and strategic plans while managing the deployment and execution of sales programs to achieve New Machine Sales results
  • Confer with other managers to plan business objectives, develop organizational policies, coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives
  • Monitor sales performance and hold sales team members accountable to the required level of sales activity and client relationships to ensure the achievement of quota attainment for new machine sales; providing training and feedback to team members
  • Build rapport with key customer stakeholders and assist RSMs in closing key accounts as required
  • Manage the sales process using Miller-Heiman methodologies or consultative selling techniques



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution with a minimum 8 years’ relevant sales management work experience in the field of packaging or automation
  • Demonstrated experience leading a Sales teams that have consistently demonstrated growth
  • Management of $100M+ sales quota revenue, with consultative selling skills with deals that average the $270K+ with a sales cycle of 6 months
  • Proven track record in hiring effective Sales people that meet or exceed quotas
  • Proven leadership ability and communication skills
