Project Foreman

Description

We are looking for a Project Foreman with strong leadership and communication skills to be a part of our assembly team. The Project Foreman will serve as a lead on the assembly floor and supervise daily production. They will be responsible for meeting production schedules, cost targets, and quality standards on a variety of assembly projects. The ideal candidate will have machine assembly experience, as well as experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for a designated line(s) and/or assigned projects to deliver assembly production requirements
  • Actively participate in the assembly process, including the testing of equipment
  • Direct and supervise the assembly team, with technical evaluation of individual competencies and performance
  • Lead continuous improvement and the 5S methodology within the team
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards
  • Lead and manage assigned field projects as required

Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree in Mechatronics or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years leading teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the competencies of an electro-mechanical technician
  • Strong management, leadership and technical problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of individuals and across all skill levels within the company
  • Machine assembly experience preferred
