Manufacturing Specialist

Location: Spokane, WA


The Manufacturing Specialist fabricates, reworks, modifies, and re-engineers parts as needed for final assembly. Work will be performed utilizing mills, lathes, and welders, and with or without formal drawings from Engineering.


  • Provide manufacturing support for Operations and Service group
  • Fabricate, modify, and re-engineer parts as needed for final assembly
  • Provide welding support for the Assembly group
  • Provide quick-turnaround fabrication support for service parts
  • Provide machine shop support for plant maintenance
  • Communicate defects and coordinate with fabrication suppliers
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including operating shop floor computers


  • High school graduate or GED
  • Metal shop experience, plus at least four years of machine shop experience
  • Ability to operate mills and lathes
  • Advanced welding skills
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Basic computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully organize and complete tasks in a time-sensitive environment
