Product Manager


The qualified individual will be responsible for: 

Research and Analysis to understand market needs

  • Interview and visit customers
  • Regular communication with Sales and Service 
  • Regular review of market competition, position, product segments, size/share/growth 
  • Determine new markets and needs
  • Develop business case and market requirements 

Product Strategy, Development and Management

1)  New Product Development
2)  Product Lifecycle Management
3)  Custom Projects

  • Set long-term vision for company’s products, define product strategy and roadmap
  • Maintain ownership for the strategy and execution of the product road map and release cycle
  • Maximize business value from a product (optimize a product to achieve business goals, max. ROI)
  • Analyze product proposals and build a business case
  • Assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Generate product requirements and specifications
  • Set and oversee development and production timelines
  • Set Pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Run Beta programs 
  • Monitor market acceptance
  • Regular Product Line Review - Develop, Manage, Publish and Refine metrics and hard data into the product life cycle 
  • Regular Pricing Review

Product Commercialization/Marketing

  • Help define Marcom objectives for product line
  • Help define Product Sales Strategies based on regular product line reviews
  • Serve as the communications hub for your products 
  • Ensure that all teams have correct and timely information of a release or decision
  • Support development sales tools and collateral


  • Bachelor/or advanced degree in business or technically relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Previous product management experience is a plus
  • Successful candidate combines business savvy, technical aptitude and customer orientation
  • Candidate must be well organized and capable of managing numerous competing priorities
  • Data driven, analytical with a sense of urgency
  • Take charge personality
  • Project management skills
  • Efficient problem analysis and solving skills
  • Strong technical background to effectively interact with customers and engineering
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
