Parts Sales Representative - Ashland, VA

Description

Flexicell, a Pearson Packaging Systems Company, helps high volume manufacturers and distributors primarily in the food and beverage industry to automate their secondary packaging processes. As a pioneer in its field, Flexicell has extensive expertise in the design, manufacture and integration of robotic solutions for picking, packing and palletizing applications. As part of Pearson Packaging Systems, Flexicell supports the entire end-of-line including erecting, packing, sealing, palletizing and full line integration.

The Parts Sales Representative will perform a variety of tasks associated with researching, identifying, quoting, purchasing, processing, and shipping customer parts accurately and on schedule. Primary duties include:

  • Work hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-5pm
  • Assist customers in identifying parts using research, drawings, customer screen shares and/or engineering resources
  • Collaborate with team members across multiple locations to fulfill customer orders
  • Quote, purchase, and communicate lead times of parts requested through machine audits and/or service trips
  • Work with Engineering department to process and prepare new machinery spare parts lists; present lists during customer FATs
  • Reach out to inactive customers to follow up on open quotes
  • Process returned parts, manage warranty returns, and log cases in tracking system
  • Manage customer database by ensuring all information is accurate and current
  • Assist Accounting department as needed with customer accounts (i.e. invoicing problems, tracking and providing proof of deliveries, contacting customers with delinquent accounts, etc.)
  • Break the front desk receptionist and perform basic administrative duties as needed (generally one to two times per month)




Qualifications

  • AA degree or equivalent work experience in manufacturing/packaging or related field
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Minimum five to seven years' experience in customer service, call center or related
  • Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD / Blueprint Reading (2D and 3D)
  • Familiar with ERP and CRM systems - Epicor preferred
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize workflow in a dynamic environment
  • Capable of professional interdepartmental collaboration at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent technical, written and verbal communication, and organizational and problem-solving skills
